Bantama is no longer an NPP stronghold, a hopeful NDC PC promises to win the seat.

Kwadwo Addai Dapaah, a prospective National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate in the Bantama Constituency, has said that the party is ready to compete fiercely with the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the seat.

In order to free the people of Bantama and all of Ghana from the severe economic hardship the NPP has caused the nation, Mr. Addai Dapaah explained that this will be in keeping with his party's ultimate goal of maintaining power in 2024.

He said, "Those days when Bantama was dubbed the 'World Bank' of votes for the NPP are long gone, and the NDC has now set itself up to wrest the seat from the NDC, just as we did when we won the seat in 1992. Bantama is therefore no longer the NPP's stronghold. Come 2024, we'll compete boot for boot with them.

The aspirant NDC member of parliament for Bantama continued, "The current economic difficulties have crippled many businesses in the Bantama Constituency and Ashanti Region at large, even some traders in the Bantama Constituency who campaigned for the NPP at the various markets have regretted and are consequently yearning for the NDC. In order to compete for the Bantama seat, we shall unite them all under one roof. Even if we don't win the seat, we'll get more presidential votes, which will help us win the presidency in 2024.

The NDC has renovated the old Bantama party office as part of its strategy to accomplish this goal in order to draw in new members and to aid in administrative tasks necessary to secure victory in 2024.

I spent more than GH460k on the election, yet I was unsuccessful, says an NDC candidate
The newly renovated Bantama NDC party office was personally overseen by Kwadwo Addai Dapaah, a prospective member of parliament for the district.

At the commissioning and turning over event, Mr. Addai Dapaah asked the party's members, in particular the grassroots, to band together for a common front to seize power in 2024.

In order to extend the life of the party office and make it a home for everyone in the event that the party comes to power in 2024, Mr. Addai Dapaah further urged the party members to ensure consistent maintenance.
