Blakk Rasta claims that despite not being medically qualified to serve as Ghana's Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has refused to resign from his job.
On the 3FM program Black Pot With Blakk Rasta, Blakk Rasta expressed his disapproval of the Finance Minister's plans for resolving Ghana's economic issues. He discussed how Ghana is expected to regain HIPC status.
"This is Ofori Atta. As you can see from his face, he is quite unwell, yet he is not ashamed to discuss his illness and refuses to leave the room. What a selfish charlatan,
the lack of shame in a nation. You pledged before God and man, the sun, the mother, the uncle, and the Holy Spirit that you wouldn't visit the IMF while E-Levy was in place, Blakk Rasta said. "You were successful in passing the so-called E-Levy through some political jingoism. Less than a month after passing the evil E-Levy, you are banging on the doors of the so-called IMF. The IMF is currently manipulating you. You have access to multiple ropes from the IMF to hang your citizens. You are not seeing the ditch in front of you when the IMF is holding out a carrot to you. What a nation!
After the E-Levy, which was supposed to "save" the country from going to the IMF, was passed, Blakk Rasta continued to explain how the Finance Minister had misled Ghanaians. He continued by saying that the faltering economy is a proof that we are incapable of controlling ourselves.
