After months of fighting a mental illness, stand-up comedian, musician, and actor Funny Face has announced his comeback.
Funny Face, real name Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, battled depression episodes that kept him off stage for months.
Funny Face thanked God for allowing him to survive the incident and even hearing the news of his father's passing in an interview with Giovani on 3FM Drive.
"The adventure has been incredible. By God's grace, as you are aware, because humans, you occasionally refuse to go to a specific level when God asks you to. God will then bring you back, split you apart, and reshape you.
That's what happened, so we're returned to God's glory once more.
He claimed that, after experiencing depression himself, he has made it his mission to now inform the youth about depression and its repercussions.
