On February 22, the Juaso circuit court remanded 10 alleged national security agents who had been detained for alleged extortion in Asiwa in the Ashanti region into police custody.
The 13-person organization is alleged to have been operating illegally in the Asiwa enclave and extorting money from small-scale miners.
