Black Stars defeat Angola with a last-second goal in AFCON 2023 Qualifying.

The Black Stars of Ghana defeated the Palancas Negras of Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium thanks to a single goal from Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo.
The second-half substitute hit a rebound from a late free-kick to ensure Chris Hughton got off to a flying start as Black Stars’ head coach.
With seven points from three games, Ghana now leads Group E after the victory. Angola and the Central African Republic are tied for second place with four points each.Mohammed Kudus was given with the Black Stars’ opening chance of the game but the Ajax midfielder could not touch the back of the net as his shot went just wide off the post.
Gelson Dala's attempt from outside the box was parried away by the Ghanaian goalie, forcing Lawrence Ati-Zigi into a superb save.
Kudus was denied in the 18th and 27th minutes respectively with Angola goalie, Neblu, rising up to the task.
Early on in the match, the Palancas Negras were forced to make a substitution when Show was forced to leave the field injured and was replaced by Bruno Paz.
While the Black Stars saw much of the ball in the early half, they just couldn’t reach the back of the net with the first half ending goalless.
The second half wasn’t any better as Hughton’s team struggled to find the cutting edge needed to overcome their opposition.
However, with minutes away from full time, Semenyo reacted the quickest to a loose ball in the 18-yard box to send his effort into the box and grab the needed win for Ghana.
The Black Stars will now anticipate their upcoming match against Angola in Luanda on Monday, March 27.
