Chris Hughton, the new Black Stars coach, has stated that he cannot assure the team of a trophy win while he is in charge.
Hughton has been tasked with getting Ghana into the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) in Ivory Coast and winning it. He signed a contract that runs through the end of 2024.
Hughton urged Ghanaians to have realistic expectations as they prepare for their first match against Angola on Thursday. Instead, he emphasized the importance of developing a strong and competitive team.
