Speaking to branch executives of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) earlier on Sunday, March 19, in Adudwama in the Ahafo Ano South East Constituency, Mr. Mahama, who is running for NDC flagbearer, said, "The Education Minister says nonperforming schools will be closed down. If schools aren't performing, you need to ask yourself why they aren't doing so. They most likely lack teachers, books, and other teaching and learning resources.
