Alexander Djiku, a defender for the Black Stars, will be available for selection when Strasbourg takes on Paris-Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 on December 28.
Following an inquiry into sports betting among French Football players, Djiku was prohibited by the French Football Federation.
He was one of 76 athletes and authorities who disregarded the rules governing athletes' participation in sports betting and were punished.
He received a one-match suspension.
The LFP stated in a press release that "these offenses were committed despite the fact that, jointly, the LFP and the UNFP (the players' union) have carried out awareness or information campaigns with the clubs on a daily basis."
The official statement stated, "The Commission reminds that the participants in the competitions organized by the FFF or the LFP (in particular the players, coaches, and managers of professional football clubs) have a general ban on betting, online or in physical networks, on all football competitions, whether domestic or foreign.
Strasbourg, however, contested the ruling, and it was overturned.
Julien Stephan, the club's manager, will therefore have the option of choosing the Vice Captain.
14 games have been played by the Black Stars defender for his team. He participated in two FIFA World Cup 2022 games in Qatar.
