Inaki Williams was not selected for additional call-ups for the 2010 World champions under then-coach Vincente Del Bosque.
However, he took use of his Ghanaian decency to change his nationality in June 2022, just in time for the recently concluded World Cup in Qatar, along with four other players.
According to Charles Taylor, the 28-year-old is only a Ghanaian international right now because he would have been unnecessary elsewhere.
