After scoring 36 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder, LeBron James of the Lakers is officially the NBA's all-time leading scorer.
After breaching the 38k barrier just three weeks earlier, LeBron only needed 36 points that night to surpass Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who was sitting courtside and watching.
"A record that was supposed to be unbreakable for nearly 40 years has suddenly been shattered. LeBron, you have now eclipsed 38,378 points in the NBA, Adam Silver announced on the court around five minutes later.
After receiving from Russell Westbrook, the 38-year-old achieved 38,388 with a fadeaway.
