In this now-viral video clip, Twinamatsiko Nelson, station manager for 91.5 Megerhertz Kanungu FM, is shown severely hitting Tumuramye Anita, an employee, over a business commission. She requested a UGX 12k agreed commission and brought in a gig.
After a business came in and everyone claimed it in terms of the commission, Mr. Twinamatsiko Nelson, the current manager, and Tumuramye Anita, nicknamed Anita Rose, got into a brawl.
Anita Rose worked as the station's cashier and receptionist prior to Twinamatsiko Nelson's appointment as station manager. Nelson later fired Rose after claiming to be qualified for the positions of cashier, receptionist, radio host, and station manager.
Anita Rose was prohibited from hosting certain of her station programs after the altercation.
The Kanungu FM Radio station is run by the Hon. Chris Baryomunsi, Minister for ICT and National Guidance and Member of Parliament for Kinkizi County East. It is situated in the Kanungu district, a short distance from the town council and close to the Kanungu Resort Hotel.
