Senior nurse allegedly receives threats from his girlfriend to leave him before committing himself.

Atinga Aniyiri David, a Senior Registered Nurse working at the Kpasera CHPS Compound in the Mpaha Health Zone of the Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region, took his own life.

According to information acquired by 3news.com, the deceased had a falling out with his girlfriend, who threatened to break up with him.


According to accounts, the nurse made the decision to kill herself since she could not tolerate the threats.

Some occupants observed him hanging from a tree behind the facility with a rope fastened around his neck.

Japo Mohammed, the local assemblyman, was contacted, and he reported the event to Mpaha police.

Before being moved to the Kpasera CHPS Compound two years ago, the deceased was employed at the Mpaha Health Center.

The facility manager and another member of staff weren't on duty when the incident occurred.

The body was being brought to the Damongo Government Hospital for an autopsy and preservation as of the time this story was being filed.
