Prior to the district level and unit committee elections later this year, the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) is taking Thursday, February 16 into consideration for its planned continuous registration.
The Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) should hold two sessions before the date is set, according to the EC's schedule, as seen by 3news.com.
In addition, the Commission plans to establish district and regional IPACs as part of a comprehensive procedure prior to registration.
If the registration goes as planned and smoothly, the register will then be displayed between Tuesday, June 6 and Saturday, June 10.
All of these will be done in order to get ready for the upcoming district level and unit committee elections, which are anticipated to take place on Tuesday, October 3.
It is anticipated that the elections will act as a trial run for the next national elections in 2024.
